Terms of service
Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of aurennebeauty.com and to everything you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not order.
Who we are
Aurenne Beauty is an online-only retailer of at-home beauty tools and kits. We can be reached at support@aurennebeauty.com, and we reply within one business day, Monday to Friday.
Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Several of our products carry their own minimum ages, stated on the product page, and those apply in addition to this.
Orders and pricing
An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your shipping confirmation. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, including where an item is out of stock or a price or description was published in error. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We try hard to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours can vary between screens and packaging is occasionally updated by the manufacturer.
Our products are cosmetics, not medical devices
Everything we sell is a cosmetic product or a cosmetic appliance. Nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a skin or eye condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical treatment, speak to a qualified professional before using any of it.
Following the instructions is your responsibility
Our products are applied near the eyes or directly to the skin. Each one ships with a protocol, and the same protocol is published on the product page: patch tests, timings, waiting periods, contraindications and aftercare. Please read it before you use anything, and follow it every time, not only the first time.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for harm caused by use that departs from those instructions, including skipping a patch test, exceeding stated timings, using a product on an area it is not sold for, or using it despite a stated contraindication. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if you have a reaction.
Results vary
Where we describe what a product typically does, that is a general expectation and not a promise about your result. Outcomes depend on your skin, your hair, your technique and how closely you follow the protocol. We state on each product page who a product tends not to work for, and we would rather you read that before buying than after.
Returns, shipping and privacy
Our refund policy, shipping policy and privacy policy form part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits or removes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where local law gives you a right that conflicts with something here, that law applies.
Site content and use
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us or our suppliers. Please do not copy or republish them commercially. Do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, or to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in the place where you live.
